2024 Quad Fellowship - Elevating the Brightest Minds in STEM for Collective Good

The Institute of International Education (IIE) is pleased to announce the application for the second cohort of the Quad Fellowship is now open to exceptional master's and doctoral students in science and technology who demonstrate academic excellence, exceptional results in their field, and a desire to use their talents to promote collective good. The fellowship, initiated by the Quad countries of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States, and administered by IIE, sponsors exceptional master's and doctoral students to study science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the United States.  

The Quad Fellowship is a first-of-its-kind fellowship designed to build ties among the next generation of scientists and technologists. It offers an unparalleled blend of financial support, cross-cultural exchange, and networking:  

  • A one-time stipend of US $40,000 for academic expenses. 

  • Networking opportunities with accomplished minds in STEM, government, and society.  

  • Multicultural alumni network dedicated to advancing innovation and research for positive social impact. 

The application, for the academic year 2024-2025 is now open to distinguished candidates from the four Quad countries of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States, as well as candidates from the ten ASEAN countries of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The application for the academic year 2024-2025 is now available on the Quad Fellowship website and will close on April 1, 2024, 5:00 PM ET.
