The Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E) is currently recruiting new Fellows! ARPA-E is an agency within the Department of Energy that funds high-risk, high-impact energy technologies. We are looking for creative early-career scientists and engineers to help direct the future of American energy innovation.
The ARPA-E Fellowship is a prestigious, two-year, full-time, paid federal position in Washington, D.C. Fellows are responsible for:
·Identifying technological whitespaces and conducting independent research and analysis
·Contributing to new program development, guiding agency strategy, and leading outreach activities
·Engaging with innovators in academia, industry, start-ups, and government
ARPA-E Fellows join an agency filled with colleagues passionate about changing the world through energy technology development and commercialization and a tight-knit alumni network. Fellows do not perform laboratory research or directly engage in policymaking.
