We are pleased to share this open call for funding from the Hertz Foundation! The Hertz Fellowship is awarded annually to the nation’s most promising graduate students in science and technology. Using a rigorous, merit-based process, Hertz identifies innovators with the greatest potential to create transformative solutions to the world's most urgent challenges. The foundation requires that applicants direct their work toward understanding and solving major, near-term problems facing society. For each applicant, that could mean something different—inventing a new technology, developing a business, or applying their interests in innovative ways.
