The ECE department is launching a weekly community-building lunch. All M.S. students involved in lab research or on a thesis track, Ph.D. students, and postdoctoral scholars who identify as women and work in a lab within the broadly defined research areas of Electrical and Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) are invited. This casual social event is intended to build an inclusive and strong community of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars within EECS.
The inaugural lunch will be at noon on Thursday, April 7, at the Lanai outdoor space at Engineering 2 and will repeat weekly. E2-599 is reserved in the event of rainy weather. RSVP is requested here so we can get a headcount and plan for dietary restrictions:
Additionally, we are seeking volunteers to help organize and promote the event. Please contact ECE Assistant Professor Colleen Josephson at email@example.com if interested.
