Statistical Science M.S. Contiguous Pathway Planners

Below you will find five-year sample planners that would allow students enrolled in any of the undergraduate programs with which the Statistics Department has agreements to complete the Statistical Science B.S./M.S. contiguous pathway.  These are just examples, and in most cases, there is enough flexibility to accommodate other arrangements.  For example, there are alternative courses that can satisfy the basic requirements (e.g., MATH 21 can be used instead of AM 10, and STAT 7 can be used instead of STAT 5).  For more information please see the catalog description of the contiguous pathway.

In the planners, courses marked in italics are upper-division courses required to qualify for the contiguous pathway.  Taking these courses during your junior year (at the lastest!) is necessary to ensure that you can complete both programs in 5 years.  Courses marked in bold are courses that count for the M.S. degree.  Credits from courses marked with an * count for both the undergraduate and graduate unit requirements.
